nRF Beacon 1.4.3

The nRF Beacon application offers a comprehensive exploration of beacon capabilities utilizing Bluetooth Low Energy technology. Specifically designed to showcase the features of the nRF8122 Bluetooth LE Beacon Kit, this application also demonstrates partial compatibility with beacons from other manufacturers.

One of the key functionalities of the application is its ability to register actions triggered by specified events. Currently, users can implement various responses such as silencing the phone, launching applications, opening web pages, displaying predefined information regarding notable objects like the Mona Lisa painting, or activating an alarm based on four specific events: entering or exiting a beacon region, as well as being in close proximity to a beacon.

For devices operating on Android versions 4.3 and 4.4.x, the installation of the nRF Beacon Service application is a prerequisite. This application can be conveniently downloaded from Google Play at the following link: Google Play Store. Starting with Android 5 (Lollipop), this service is integrated into the main application, utilizing the native API, allowing users to remove the separate nRF Beacon Service application if desired.
